There is a simple idea that over the years has become a structured, recognised and replicable project: connecting the inland villages with the coastal resorts, creating a single strong, coherent and recognisable tourism narrative.
It is from here that it is born “Gusta l’Arancione e Gusta il Blu”, the association that brings together the the Orange Flags and Blue Flags of the Marche region in a network that has been active since 2013, capable of transforming the quality of these areas into tangible experiences for travellers.
📍 The network in numbers
-
30 Orange Flag Municipalities of the hinterland
-
20 Blue Flag Municipalities along the coast
-
A single tourism ecosystem that stretches from the sea to the hills, all the way to the historic villages
🎯 The goal
Enhancing local excellence, strengthening the Marche brand and to build an integrated tourism offering, able to speak to both national and international audiences.
🚀 What the project does, in practical terms
-
Integrated web portals and social networks
-
Blog, forum and shared storytelling
-
Orange Card and Blue Card valid in all participating Municipalities
-
Orange Tour and Blue Tour between villages and coast
-
Promotional videos “Between sky and earth”
-
Participation in national and international trade fairs and events
-
Funded projects and participation in calls for tenders
-
Activities that can be replicated in other regions too
📘 Communication and promotion
Dedicated brochures, regional campaigns, ambassadors, widespread events, exhibitions and fairs: from the BIT in Milan to promotion in Europe, all the way to emerging markets.
👨👩👧 Villages built for the future
Among the key projects is also “The Child-Friendly Village”, focusing on hospitality, playful and educational activities and family tourism, making the villages living, accessible and contemporary places.
🌏 A look beyond the borders
The project also looks far ahead: the promotion in China enhances authentic experiences and unique territories of the Marche region to attract new international tourist flows.
💡 A network that works because it is real
“Gusta l’Arancione e Gusta il Blu” is not just promotion: it is collaboration between Municipalities, cultural exchange, economic development and a shared vision.
👉 Because today tourism is not about choosing a place, but experiencing a territory.
